All paintings are original pieces, I work on a variety of surfaces paper, board and canvas.

I record the world around me – places, people and nature.

My work is a reflection of the things I love; landscapes, plants and trees, how they constantly change with time, season and weather and I try to record my response to these progressions. 

My paintings are semi abstract & expressive. I work in a variety of mediums including collage, watercolour, acrylic, oils and natural pigments. 

I start by building up layers of fluid paint and glazes, I often use collage and found items to create the first marks, losing and finding images over time. The aim is to look spontaneous but often it is a very long reflective process.
